This issue looks at the prevalence of domestic violence and the legal framework that deals with offenders and victims, which includes AVOs, the court process and other legal issues that relate to DV.
Seminar Series April 2019: My Blue Sky – preventing forced marriage in Australia
Anti-Slavery Australia provides access to legal advice and representation for people who have experienced trafficking and slavery. It advocates for changes to laws and policies to improve the protection of the rights of people who have been trafficked. This presentation will explore some of their vital work.
