Women Affected by Natural Disasters
In response to the 2020 bushfire crisis and the following floods, we compiled some information to help women who have been affected by natural disasters.
These resources are useful following the 2022 floods.
FACTSHEETS:
We have a factsheet with information about family law parenting issues and child support if you are you are affected by a natural disaster. It will explain your legal rights and options. It also has the contact details of organisations that can help you.
We have a factsheet which provides information if you have an AVO for your protection and you are affected by a natural disaster. It has information about AVO issues and will explain your legal rights and options. The factsheet also provides a comprehensive list of organisations that may be able to help you.
