Working Together, Working Out the Law

WLS NSW travelled throughout NSW to run a full day of workshops for community workers at 15 locations. Topics covered were: family law, AVOs, taking good client notes, dealing with subpoenas, and the new sexual assault communications privilege. Participants were also introduced to Ask LOIS, a newly-launched online resource and training tool developed by WLS NSW for community workers, in particular those who work in rural and remote regions of NSW. Working Together, Working Out the Law was supported by funding from the  Legal Aid NSW’s Sexual Assault Communication Privilege Service.
