WLS NSW is offering full day training for community workers on Domestic Violence and the Law and Women and Family Law.
The training will take place on 25 and 26 September 2019. You do not have to register for both days but we encourage those workers from rural, remote and regional areas to make the trip to Sydney worthwhile and register for both days of training!
Who should attend?
The program is designed for community workers including domestic violence workers, social workers, case workers, support workers, counsellors and health workers, teachers and education providers.

- The seminars are run by experienced solicitors from Women’s Legal Services NSW.
- The seminars are very practical and use examples, case studies and activities to increase your confidence in identifying legal issues and providing accurate legal information and referrals.
- You will also learn about updates and changes to laws affecting your clients.
- There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, network and learn from other participant’s experiences.
