Bright Spark Awards 2019

What are the Bright Spark Awards?
• An appreciation of great work
• An offer of encouragement
• A recognition of achievement
• A celebration of effort
• A sharing of experiences, projects and ideas

Who are the Bright Sparks?
• Carers that encourage and strengthen their community
• Influencers who inspire and enlighten others
• Motivators that empower and support growth
• Passionate advocates for a better, brighter world
• Talented and determined women who show bravery and leadership

Awards will be presented to the winners of these four categories:

  1. Particular effort and engagement with an area of ADVOCACY OR LAW REFORM,
  2. Demonstration of exemplary commitment or conduct in COMMUNITY SERVICE,
  3. PRO-BONO project of the year.
  4. Endeavors undertaken to promote or enhance EQUAL RIGHTS in the workplace (nominated and presented by the Australian Services Union)

Please nominate your colleagues, peers or friends – there are a few short, easy questions to give us a little information about your nominee. It will take you a few minutes to complete a submissions and make someone feel special!

Award Presentation Cocktail Party

All nominators, nominees, their colleagues and their friends as well as our those in our community services network are invited to celebrate at the Award Presentation Cocktail Party on Wednesday 24 July, hosted by The Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation at their offices in the CBD.

All nominees will be acknowledged and the event is a wonderful opportunity to hear about some fantastic work, learn about some inspiring projects and meet some wonderful women.

Winners will be treated to a special gift.
