Women’s Legal Service NSW (WLS) is a community legal centre for disadvantaged women in NSW. We are a leading human rights and social justice advocacy organisation.

Community Legal Education Officer: (parenting leave locum)

Fixed term 2 year part time contract

We are looking for a community legal education officer for a three days (21 hours) per week fixed term position.

The position involves organising and presenting community education workshops, training community workers and lawyers, preparing and updating publications and resources, and managing our online support service, Ask LOIS

We advise and represent women in a range of practice areas including family law, domestic violence, discrimination, sexual assault and victims support.

The position is based in our Lidcombe office and may also require travel to regional parts of NSW.

The purpose of this position is to relieve a staff member on parenting leave. Employment beyond this term is not expected.

Salary range: $65,260 – $86,010  pro rata ($35 – $40 per hour).
